RSS

I just delve into google adsense for feeds. I still Can't understand it until yesterday. lol

You can subsrcibe to this blog so that you are always updated about how my adventure on how I enrich my life. You can see it on the upper right of this page

I will enroll to a workshop for graphic design. Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I went to a small school but they are teaching old macromedia stuffs, not the latest CS4.

I'll find other schools that offers the courses that I would like to study.

Learning Photoshop and Dreamweaver will help me on my businesses. First is because I could be the one who could design my website. It is like an investment to yourself. Adding value to your worth. My webistes will be somehow automated or likely small in managment. Having Knowledge on this stuff will eliminate time outsourcing and additional costs.

Putting a new meaning

If you are a sole proprietor; You are a one man organization.

You may fall under the left quadrant which is a self employed, or to the RIGHT quadrant which is a NR (New Rich/entrepreneur) or an investor
I prefer to be a NR.

Why? because I still have not delve into the world of investing. As of now Self made business is all I have.

When you are self employed, you will not have the luxury of time.

Think of businesses with the end in mind. A Business that will generate profit and consume the very less of your time.

Have a vision. A business for the sake of money is a business designed to fail. A business designed to fulfill peoples need and enrich their life is deemed to support one.

Hire someone to manage your business. If you can't afford it or have a small capital, make sure it is easily managable and not time consuming.

Let us discuss entrepreneurship and resources.
Entrepreneurship is gathering resources.

Captial- I suggest that money may come entirely from you. Having a loan is suicide in advance.

There are also clever ways to get capital. ASK FOR IT. No, they won't get offended, you are just asking, it is up to them to decide what they want to do.

Labor-If others can do it for you, hire them. Just make sure that they are world class doers. Not hiring or wrong hiring may result to it becoming a liability.

Liabilities - I prefer businesses without liabilities. As what my professor said "your business is very liquid" (my business)

Christianity in MLM

I support MLM because of its innovative approach to product distribution. I would like to share an article about MLM that I have read.

Christianity was started with only 12 disciples. There was no media then, only face-to-face recruitment; yet the practice and acceptance of Christianity spread throughout the world. Picking up lessons from the spread of Christianity, the following parallelisms about network marketing recruitment are made:

1. Jesus Christ was committed to a cause. An upline sales leader must develop a clear relevant vision consistent with that of his company so the downlines know to what destination they are going. Examples are highest productivity, number of millionaires under his network to be the network role model of the industry, etc.

2. Jesus Christ appointed 12 disciples (not 1000) directly reporting to him. There is a limit as to the number of people you can recruit directly and still effectively become successful at any one time.

3. Jesus recruited those with a high need to change themselves. These people were not satisfied with their existing condition

4. If all recruit were like Judas Iscariot, there would be no continuity, so go for quality recruits. More quality recruits will join you if you are a quality upline too.....

5. Jesus Christ spent a lot of time with his personal recruits to mold and prepare them for the task of duplicating themselves. Did not make judgment as to the personal background of his recruits

6. Jesus Christ chose people with loyalty. He asked the disciples to drop everything and follow him completely without serving two masters.

7. The disciples are committed because of Jesus Christ whom they respect. Upline should be your role model “do as I do and not just do as I say"

8. Peter denied Christ 3 times, and yet peter was forgiven and was even made head of the church. Jesus was not happy with what peter did but not with peter as a person. Upline must distinguish between a task and the person doing the task. They always build from strength.

9. The gospel started to spread the gospel and heal the people. Upline must plant roots and give wings to their downlines.

10. Disciples supported each other. They were focusing on their common vision and stop being professional victims.

11. Thomas eventually replaced Judas in the Jesus Christ team, when personal recruits become inactive or have been promoted to a sale's leader rank, replenish....

12. Jesus promised that he will prepare a place for his disciples eventually become saints. Upline should recognize downlines for their contribution, their productive and their significance.

My uplines does have a reward system. For every Business package we could provide, we will have a bonus package. And for 20 business packages that we could have we could have a laptop computer, either an Acer or a Mac.

Issues

I have read a blog. It is about how he hates Tim Ferris.

I would just like to have a reaction blog about her ideas. Italicized words are excerpts of that blog.

1. Don’t hang out with people who don’t respect your time

This one is good. Elimination, Chapters 5 and 7 of 4HWW explains this.

Sometimes people wonder if I ever hang out. Yes I do. Im a pick up artist; Others call it social butterfly. I just don't want to be disturbed when I am doing what I like(Watching movies). I have time to be with my friends and I have time for not being with them. It is a decision. A choice.

2. Cut to the chase: Tell people who are full of sh*t that they're full of sh*t
When his book came out, there were vacuous, annoying comments all over my blog directing people to his book. Like, "The topic of priorities is an interesting one. I like how Tim Ferris handles that in his new book, blah blah" and then there's a link to the book.

At this point I knew Tim, sort of. And I called him on his phone and told him to tell his employees to stop spamming my blog.

First he implied it was his fan base and he had little control.

I think he really has no control over other people. Its not his choice for his fans to comment at her blog.

3. Self-centered people are more likely to waste your time

Definitely. Self centered people are what we call the people that belong to the upper class thinking. They strive to have something, however they want to get it at any means possible even stepping on others.

An example would be a multi level marketer who persuades his invites to go to a conference and discuss about a business. After the transaction he does not anymore mind his downline. All for making a sale.

A good MLMer must be Honest about the business. MLM is Having a business and distribution. Here in the Philippines, majority of MLMers just do it for the money. Looking for downlines just for the money. Greed is sad. It is a sad truth.

4. Productivity is about meeting your goals, not getting out of doing work
Fine. But then his four-hour work week is merely semantic. Because everything Tim does he turns into what the rest of us would call work, and he calls it not-work. For example, tango. If you want to be world-record holder, it's work. It's your job to be special at dancing the tango. That's your big goal that you're working toward. How you earn money is probably just a day job. So most weeks Tim probably has a 100-hour workweek. It's just that he's doing things he likes, so he lies to you and says he only works four hours. He defines work only as doing what you don't like.

No. Totally wrong. If I want to be a world record holder, it is NOT WORK. Doing what you want is not work. There is difference between DOING WORK FOR WORKS SAKE, and being PERSONALLY PRODUCTIVE.

I like playing guitar. I want to travel and play concerts. I like to compose songs. It is Not work.

5. Time management is about making time to connect with people

What the NR strives to achieve is NOT time management. The NR wants what he wants. Wether it is connecting with people. The NR will formulate solutions just to be with the people they love, or to do whatever they want without restrictions.

I am not affiliated to Tim Ferris or anything. This is actually disappointing. Just like Religion wars, people still rely on faith instead of thinking. When you are a NR you are open to ideas. You must be, To survive.

When I first read his book, it was an awe. I thought I was the only one who has this principles.

Solutions are the things that the NR is good at. Deal with it.

P.S. Watch the movie The Kingdom

Domino Effect

I still have not finished my schedule. I am the master of procrastination.

I also started reading again my Bible. (The 4 Hour Workweek)

This week had been somehow diffucult. Disruption in your schedule is very drastic. One change could ruin the remaining things ahead.

Last tuesday I approached my professor and told him that I would pass my feasibility study later that night. I did not. I went to a girls place, for tomorrow we will not have any classes.
Its friday today, still no luck.

What I need to do (FOR WORKS SAKE)
1. Finish my schedule
2. Finish my papers
3. Work on Non disclosure agreements for my Business (Triga Studios)
4. Work on Triga Solutions
  • Theme
  • Web Design and Lay out
P.S. Somehow Im regretting going back to school. This day had been a mess. No lessons. Bullshit Wasted Money.

Its time to get BORED!

As you have read in my previous post I had problems with my company, that is because of management problems etc etc. I have an excuse, I am a beginner. lol

Yep! It is time to get bored. Stress kills!

Again, Timothy Ferriss has said already and I will reiterate again. People should take some time off.

Champions know when to stop. Further means collapse. We need time to let go of the stress we feel.

What I did, but do not recommend:
1. Watch movies
2. I told my bandmate that, if I still can't play guitar, that means Im still stressed out. I played guitar. hehe

But damn 5 days I think is not enough for me. I need A month and a half or two, lol.

I need to get Bored.

How not to be a slave

You should listen to those who claim to be experts!

I forgot about the teachings of timothy Ferriss. I loose myself inside myself. I became a slave

Slave of what? slave of yahoo messenger and my own company. Uhm what else, maybe thats how far I can remember. Ah, I also became a slave of information.

I made Triga Studios because It made me think that graphic design could be a business. It is outside of my plan for it ti be the main business that I would submit in my program at school. Triga Studios is the one I passed and not a gym business which is in fact my original proposal. Gym business is too costly.

The end in my mind. That is what Tim Ferris taught. I thought I was doing what he says but hey, I was not, or I just Forgot.

I need to made Triga studios more automated, meaning it will rely very little from me. Back then I was the one talking to clients and it just consumes too much time. I thought of a soution. Tim Ferris solution is to outsource a service from a call center, but since I don't have much capital, or I have not included it on my list of cost I made another one. My solution is to have a fix letter that i could just copy and paste to every email to any customer that inquires. Iwould also attach the company policies to that mail. If the letter does not suffice the needs of a client that is the time I wil think of another one.

Tim Ferriss also told us about answering inquiries. I forgot about it. His book is a Bible.

Never put your personal numbers or contact information. You will be bombarded with non stop messages. Designate a specific contact information where the customers could use. Tim Ferris also added that the more specific that is the better. If a customer has a problem about shipment, there should be a seperate contact information for that.

Well I think this goes out of topic but, Information. Don't be a slave of information. I am an information junkie. What you should do is; Read and APPLY. Don't just read and read and think that you are a genius. You should read, apply it As Soon As Possible ad from there you can disregard that idea or continue with it.

Ventures update

1. Real Lifestyle Design - Our google adsense application has been approved. I just had $0.63 dollars as my starting earnings.

2. Triga Studios - With having an approved google adsense; I also added adsense to triga studios' blog (you can visit it HERE).

I did have problems to one of our clients and to triga studios' management itself. We need to implement strict policies and to add more features. We will be moving triga studios to triga solutions any day now.

3. Triga Solutions - I just received an approval around 14 hours ago by my web host that my domain trigasoltions.com is already registered and I can already start triga solutions I still have not come up with a decent idea to implement to generate traffic to triga solutions.

4. Loadxtreme - I will be having a client meeting maybe sunday.

The cost of moral living here in the Philippines is aroud 480-560 pesos per day (Luxury not included). I need to have at least 15,000 per month to survive.

Ventures

As of now I'm working on 4 businesses:
1. Loadxtreme; my Multilevel marketing business that incorporates all in one loading services
2. Triga studios; an online grpahic design studio
3. Triga Solutions; An affiliate marketing business
4. Real Lifestyle Design; A monetized blog about my path in acquiring financial freedom

Im losing touch with my MLM business because I'm focusing my efforts on Triga Studios and Triga Solutions. I need also to focus on it. I'm already embarassed to my friend and upline.haha

There is so many problems arising in Triga studios, some of them are
  • pricing and pricing strategy
  • no actual survey
  • duplication of designs
  • payment methods
In Triga Solutions however, I just signed up for a paypal account, and a paydotcom account. Im experimenting if paydotcom is Highly profitable that is why I posted advertisements at the bottom of my page. Im waiting for a response from my web host so that I could already make a sole website for it. The sad thing is, their service is too slow. It is taking up too much time.

I don't know how much traffic does Real Lifestyle Design have. What I can do is post much more of what I do in this part of my Life. I just signed up for a Google Adsense and hoping that they would approve it.

From these endeavors, I already spent a much of time in front of the computer, I got a debit card (what an experience). I am just "hoping" that these would pay off. Good luck to me

Hoping is one of the worst things a man can do.

School vs. Real World

I enrolled myself to the entrepreneurship program of our university; making it a priority before fine arts.

I don't like my program.

Why? It is not because they can't teach properly or they can't teach what they preach. It is about they don't know what they preach can do.

The real world teaches us outsourcing and automated business, levaraging and globalization.
What my curriculum teahces is traditional business.

Now, my program has a different curriculum. A year of pre commerce studies and afterwards three years of entrepreneurship before you can graduate. Adding subjects that they think might help future entrepreneurs. I have not browsed for what it can offer but I'm hoping that it is better than what me and my classmates are in.

When you want to pursue education, here's what you should do
1. Weigh if having an outside mentor is better than having to go to school; Why?

If you plan to pursue formal education this is what you should do??
1. Check out the curriculum.
2. Is the curriculum congruent with what you want to achieve??/Will the curriculum help you attain what you want??
2. Talk to the chairperson of that program and ask questions.
